Chairman Min Aung Hlaing and wife depart for Vietnam

At the invitation of Vietnamese President Mr. To Lam and his wife, a Myanmar high-level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Chairman of the State U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla departed from Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by special aircraft on the morning of September 4th for an official visit to Vietnam. The Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council and his wife was seen off by Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw U Khin Ri, Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw U Aung Lin Dway, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council U Kan Myint Than, government officials, and officials from the Vietnamese Embassy in Myanmar. Accompanying the Chairman of the State Administration Council and his wife on the trip were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Ri, U Tin Maung Swe, U Min Naung, Dr. Charlie Than, U Htun Oun, Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy, Air) General Ko Ko Oo, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Soe, Deputy Ministers, and relevant officials. During the trip, the Chairman of the State Administration Council will meet with the President of Vietnam and hold bilateral discussions, meet with the Prime Minister of Vietnam and the Speaker of the Vietnamese National Assembly, and also receive and meet with individuals from economic organizations. In addition, it is reported that he is scheduled to attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Economic Forum and visit digital technology and industrial sectors in Vietnam. It is also reported that during the trip, frank discussions and exchange of views will be held on matters related to further strengthening the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Vietnam, matters related to increasing cooperation between the governments, parliaments, and peoples of the two countries, and matters related to cooperation in economic, cultural, and all sectors.
