Bun Rany Wife Visits Construction Workers, Distributes Humanitarian Aid

On the afternoon of August 3, 2026, Mrs. Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross and esteemed wife of Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, visited and offered words of encouragement to 86 workers constructing a meeting hall within the premises of Muni Sovann Pagoda (also known as Chongpock Kaek Pagoda) in Prek Thani Commune, Chbar Ampov District, Phnom Penh. The benevolent ceremony also saw the esteemed presence of His Holiness Most Venerable Am Limheng, Supreme Patriarch of the Mahānikāya sect of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Director-General of the National Buddhist Education Directorate. He graced the event and bestowed blessings upon all attendees. During the occasion, each of the 86 workers received two sarongs and 100,000 Cambodian Riels, a gesture of goodwill from Mrs. Bun Rany Hun Sen to help alleviate their daily living expenses. Prayers were also offered to sacred entities for the good health and long life of Mrs. Bun Rany and Samdech Techo, wishing them to continue serving as a warm sanctuary for the Cambodian people for many years to come. This noble humanitarian act clearly reflects the sincere heart and deep affection of Mrs. Bun Rany Hun Sen, who consistently pays close attention to the well-being and difficulties of the people throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.
