Bun Rany Hun Sen Distributes Aid to Construction Workers
Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, distributed aid including two sarongs and 100,000 Cambodian Riel in cash to 86 construction workers at a site in Phnom Penh, aiming to alleviate their living conditions as part of her welfare activities.
On the afternoon of August 3, 2026, Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, met with and distributed humanitarian aid to 86 workers constructing a meeting hall within the compound of Wat Muni Sovann (also known as Wat Chompor Kkuek) in Prek Thmei commune, Chbar Ampov district, Phnom Penh. This initiative aims to alleviate the difficulties and concerns regarding the living conditions of the workers. The ceremony was graced by the presence of His Excellency Most Venerable Samdech Preah Mahasomdetheabidit Kethipandit Om Limheng, Supreme Patriarch of the Mahanikay Buddhist sect of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Director General of the National Buddhist Education, who presided over the event and bestowed blessings upon all attendees. During the occasion, each of the 86 workers received two sarongs and 100,000 Cambodian Riel, a donation from the heartfelt generosity of Bun Rany Hun Sen, intended to assist with their daily expenses and improve their living standards. The workers also offered prayers for the good health and longevity of Bun Rany Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Sen, wishing them over a hundred years of life to continue serving as a warm sanctuary for the Cambodian people. This noble humanitarian act clearly reflects the sincere heart and deep affection of Bun Rany Hun Sen, who consistently pays close attention to the well-being and hardships of the people throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.
