NTTI Offers Nearly 2,000 Scholarships for Disadvantaged Youth in Cambodia

The National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) has announced the provision of 1,900 scholarships in eight vocational fields for young people from poor and vulnerable families. This initiative, supported by the government, also includes monthly stipends. The eight specialized fields include: electrical network installation and maintenance, computer graphic design, computer services, telecommunication cable installation (DTv, internet, telephone lines), electronic equipment maintenance and repair, mechatronics equipment maintenance and repair, automation equipment maintenance and repair, and renewable energy (solar) equipment repair and maintenance. NTTI plans to open a new academic term this August, with enrollment beginning immediately. This vocational and technical training program for targeted youth from poor and vulnerable families nationwide was initiated by former Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in 2023 and officially launched for implementation by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet on November 14, 2023.
