NTTI Cambodia Offers 1,900 Vocational Scholarships to Poor and Vulnerable Youth

The National Institute of Vocational Training (NTTI) has announced the provision of 1,900 scholarships for vocational training, accompanied by monthly stipends, to young individuals from poor and vulnerable families. This initiative is a key component of the Cambodian government's efforts to create employment opportunities for youth. The scholarships cover eight specialized fields: Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Computer Graphic Design, Computer Services, Telecommunications Cable Installation (DTV, Internet, Telephone Lines), Electronic Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Mechatronics Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Automation Equipment Maintenance and Repair, and Renewable Energy (Solar) Equipment Repair and Maintenance. These skills are in high demand in the current industrial landscape, aiming to equip young people with directly employable expertise. NTTI plans to launch new courses in August and has opened registration from the date of this announcement. The program is expected to contribute significantly to Cambodia's economic development and social welfare.
