GSIS Expands Funeral Benefit to P50,000 for Government Workers and Pensioners
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) in the Philippines has increased its funeral benefit for government workers and qualified pensioners from P30,000 to P50,000. This enhancement, effective for claims from July 13 onwards, aims to support approximately 21,000 to 25,000 families annually, with an allocated budget of up to P1.25 billion.
