Cambodia and Mongolia Sign MOU for Youth and Cultural Exchange

The Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Mongolian Center for Volunteer Affairs on the morning of July 28, 2026. Both institutions have agreed to establish a long-term official cooperation in seven areas, according to information released by the RAC. The MOU was signed by Dr. Sok Touch, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. According to the RAC, the seven areas of cooperation agreed upon by both institutions include: 1. Promoting cooperation in the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors. 2. Enhancing youth capacity development, including international volunteer exchange programs and student exchange programs. 3. Conducting joint research, such as exchanging expertise and publishing on topics related to youth, community development, and regional cooperation. 4. Exchanging study materials and library resources. 5. Implementing capacity-building programs, including leadership programs, forums, and dialogues on civil society participation and sustainable development. 6. Promoting cultural exchange to strengthen ties and mutual understanding between the peoples of both countries. 7. Cooperating on organizing joint projects and programs to seek assistance from international programs and on regional development initiatives. This MOU aims to strengthen bilateral relations, foster exchange, particularly among the youth, and contribute to regional development.
