Cambodia and Mongolia Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic and Cultural Cooperation

The Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) and the Mongolian Volunteer Center (VCM) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on July 28, 2026. This agreement is a significant event aimed at promoting academic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and sustainable development initiatives between Cambodia and Mongolia. The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Sok Touch, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, and Ms. Tsevelmaa Batchuluun, Founder and Executive Director of the Mongolian Volunteer Center, in the presence of representatives from both institutions. This agreement establishes a comprehensive framework for long-term cooperation in various fields, including research, education, volunteer work, leadership development, cultural exchange, community engagement, and capacity building. It also aims to facilitate joint study activities, institutional exchanges, policy dialogues, and collaborative projects that contribute to the socio-economic development of both nations. Speaking at the signing ceremony, H.E. Dr. Sok Touch emphasized that this partnership reflects the Royal Academy of Cambodia's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and expanding its academic network with reputable institutions worldwide. He noted that this collaboration will create valuable opportunities for researchers, scholars, students, and young leaders from both Cambodia and Mongolia to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and enhance mutual understanding. Ms. Tsevelmaa Batchuluun welcomed the partnership and expressed her admiration for the Royal Academy of Cambodia's dedication to international cooperation. She highlighted that the MoU will serve as a solid foundation for promoting volunteerism, empowering youth, fostering cross-cultural learning, and achieving sustainable community development through joint initiatives between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was part of an official visit by a delegation from the Royal Academy of Cambodia to Mongolia from July 27 to July 31, 2026, with the objective of enhancing institutional partnerships and promoting academic and cultural diplomacy between the two countries. The Royal Academy of Cambodia and the Mongolian Volunteer Center reaffirmed their joint commitment to implementing the MoU through practical cooperation, regular exchanges, and joint programs, which will further strengthen the long-standing friendship and collaboration between Cambodia and Mongolia.
