US-Cambodia Business Chamber Expresses Interest in Investing in Key Sectors in Cambodia

On the morning of September 10, 2026, at the Peace Palace, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, granted an audience to a delegation from the American Cambodian Business Chamber (ACBC), led by its founder and president, Sokveasna Chan. The delegation expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister for his time and conveyed the purpose of their business visit, which was to explore investment opportunities in Cambodia. During their visit, the ACBC delegation held discussions with leaders of relevant ministries and institutions of the Cambodian government, as well as the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port. They shared information regarding the investment potential in Cambodia's key sectors, receiving high praise for the welcome and support from the relevant ministries and institutions. Notably, companies under ACBC have shown strong interest in investing in the logistics, agriculture, and furniture sectors, aiming to enhance connectivity between investors of both countries and further expand bilateral trade. In response, Prime Minister Hun Manet warmly welcomed the ACBC founder and delegation, considering their visit a significant catalyst for promoting business connections between Cambodia and the United States. He highlighted that both countries have substantial potential for expanding cooperation, particularly in trade and investment. The Prime Minister also expressed optimism that Cambodian products will become increasingly present in the US market in the future. Furthermore, he emphasized the Cambodian government's vision to transform the Sihanoukville Port into a regional logistics hub and expressed intentions to promote connectivity between this port and major US ports.
