Phnom Penh Governor Requests UNESCO Report on Preah Vihear Temple Damage
Phnom Penh Governor Khou Vong Sreng has requested the UNESCO representative in Cambodia to submit a report to UNESCO headquarters regarding the damage to Preah Vihear Temple caused by Thai military shelling. The governor emphasized that the temple's destruction is an attack not only on Cambodia but also on the shared heritage of humanity as a World Heritage site.
