Exhibits expanded at General Aung San Museum (Yangon)

It has been learned from the National Museum (Yangon) that the General Aung San Museum, located in Baho Township, Ward 1, Bo Cho Street, Yangon City, has expanded its exhibits this year to include special displays that were not exhibited in previous years. It is said that this year, the kitchen, storage room, and the crockery used by General Aung San's family are being displayed one by one. In addition, it is understood that General Aung San's life history records and the history of the house are also being presented as digital exhibits. Inside the museum, the bedroom, dining room, storage room, kitchen, study, children's bedroom, special meeting room, prayer room, the farm where General Aung San cultivated in his spare time, and the English car that General Aung San used to ride are also on display. On July 19, Martyrs' Day, many people visited and studied at the General Aung San Museum. Some of those who visited and studied at the General Aung San Museum said that they came to study at the museum out of respect for General Aung San, who sacrificed his life for the country and the people. The General Aung San Museum is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, from Tuesday to Sunday every week. Domestic visitors are allowed free entry, while foreign visitors from abroad are charged 5,000 Kyats per person.
