Museum Tour : People visits Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Yangon

The Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township of Yangon also saw a number of visitors on the Martyrs' Day on July 19. To mark the historic day, the museum organizes a digital exhibition and quiz program to provide knowledge on the country's Independence history to the younger generation. Inside the museum, visitors can observe the living room, dining room, bedrooms, reading room, children’s room, special meeting room, and prayer room. Also on display are the crop patch cultivated by General Aung San during his leisure time, the British-made Wolseley car he used, and a gallery of photographic records. Visitors, including students came to observe and learn about the history the national leader. The Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Yangon) is housed in the former residence of General Aung San, the architect of Myanmar’s independence, and has been converted into a museum. General Aung San lived in this house with his family from May 1945 until his assassination in July 1947. The public can visit the museum free of charge during designated visiting hours.
