President Prabowo Subianto has announced that Indonesia will soon have its own national electric motorcycle. This electric motorcycle is a direct production by Indonesian engineers. Prabowo stated that he himself will launch the national electric motorcycle. This was revealed by Prabowo during his speech at the TNI Harvest Festival in Support of Food Security Programs at Lanud Abdulrachman Saleh, Malang Regency, East Java, on Friday (17/6/2026). "We will soon have a national motorcycle. I will be launching the national electric motorcycle in the coming weeks," Prabowo revealed. The President expressed his hope that the national electric motorcycle will be utilized by the public, especially farmers, to support their daily activities. "I hope that our farmers will at least ride electric motorcycles. Who knows, maybe everyone will be using cars later on," he added. Not only motorcycles, Prabowo also said that Indonesia will have national cars. Similar to motorcycles, these national cars are made by Indonesian children. "We will have motorcycles made by Indonesian children, we will have cars made by Indonesian children. The TNI and Polri are now using Jeeps made by Indonesian sons and daughters," Prabowo concluded.
