The aim was to facilitate consensus for the project. Following detailed discussions, all parties reached a mutual understanding. The vendors agreed to the authorities' proposed solutions and expressed support for the plan to renovate roads, install drainage systems, and improve sidewalks. On behalf of Governor Khung Sreang, Deputy Governor Sok Pheanvuth expressed gratitude to all vendors for their agreement, which will allow this significant project to proceed according to the Phnom Penh City Hall's plan. The initiative is intended to enhance the environment, sanitation, and aesthetics along the streets and in the vicinity of the Dei Krom Market. According to Ms. Doan Sompasa, spokesperson for the Phnom Penh City Hall, the planned works include: 1. Repair and concrete paving (20cm thickness with rebar) of Street 235 (from Street 336 to Street 217), measuring 176 meters in length and 12 meters in width, with the installation of a 0.8-meter diameter drainage pipe on the eastern side for 83 meters. 2. Repair and concrete paving (20cm thickness with rebar) of Street 346 (from Street 245 to Street 235), measuring 150 meters in length and 12 meters in width, with the installation of a 0.8-meter diameter drainage pipe on the northern side for 160 meters. 3. Construction of sidewalks along both streets, totaling 652 meters in length. This infrastructure development is expected to improve the urban environment around the Dei Krom Market and enhance the convenience of daily life for residents.
