Following detailed discussions, mutual understanding was achieved, and the vendors agreed to accept the authorities' proposed solutions and expressed support for the planned road repairs, drainage installation, and sidewalk construction. Deputy Governor Sok Phengvuth, on behalf of Governor Khuong Sreng, expressed gratitude to the vendors for their agreement to allow this significant project to proceed as planned by the Phnom Penh City Administration. The development is anticipated to contribute to the improvement of the environment, sanitation, and aesthetics around Tuem Kor Market. According to Ms. Douh Samphos, spokesperson for the Phnom Penh City Administration, the plan includes concrete paving (20 cm thick) on a 176-meter section of Road 235 (from Road 336 to Road 217), spanning 12 meters wide, and the installation of an 83-meter drainage pipe (0.8m diameter) on the east side. Additionally, a 150-meter section of Road 346 (from Road 245 to Road 235), 12 meters wide, will be paved with concrete, with a 160-meter drainage pipe (0.8m diameter) installed on the north side.
