Ombudsman Accuses Romualdez Camp of Orchestrating Witness Recantations
Philippine Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla alleged that the camp of former Speaker Martin Romualdez was behind the recantation of four former bodyguards who had linked the lawmaker to alleged corruption in flood control projects. Romualdez's camp denied the accusation, citing prejudice from the Ombudsman.
