Laboratory equipment and medicines are being supplied by the state to the temporary public hospital opened in Htantlang Township, Chin State. U Myo Myint, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Construction, visited the public hospital in Htantlang Township on July 10, along with members of the Reconstruction and Resettlement Committee in Chin State. Upon arrival at the temporary public hospital in Htantlang Township, the Deputy Minister and his delegation were briefed by town elders, the chief medical officer, and hospital staff on the hospital's preparation status, the status of the mobile operating room installation, the water supply status, the electricity supply status, the possibility of further expansion of the hospital, the status of laboratory equipment and medicine supplies, and the treatment status. The Deputy Minister stated that based on the presentations, he coordinated with the responsible officials and that laboratory equipment and medicines required for the public hospital are being supplied by the state in a timely manner. Subsequently, the Deputy Minister and his delegation inspected the status of laboratory equipment installed in the temporary operating room and the status of medicines stored in the medicine store. Afterwards, the laboratory equipment and medicines required for the hospital were handed over to the chief medical officer. It was learned that at the temporary public hospital in Htantlang Township, the chief medical officer and 84 healthcare staff are providing health check-ups and treatments, and have been able to treat a total of 1,424 patients. Furthermore, it was learned that in Tiddim, Ton Zang, and Htantlang townships in Chin State, township public hospitals have been opened, and with 285 doctors and healthcare staff, 13,677 patients have been treated, and medical supplies and medicines have also arrived. Afterwards, the Deputy Minister and his delegation visited the Htantlang Township branch of the Myanma Economic Bank, which is located in the Htantlang Township General Administration Department, and inspected the status of bank services provided to the public and the work status of the staff.
