Temporary People's Hospital Opened in Htantlang Township, Chin State Supplied with Laboratory Equipment and Medicines

It is reported that laboratory equipment and medicines are being supplied by the state to the temporary people's hospital opened in Htantlang Township, Chin State. On July 10, Deputy Minister of Construction U Myo Myint, along with members of the Reconstruction and Resettlement Committee in Chin State, visited the People's Hospital in Htantlang Township. Upon arrival at the temporary People's Hospital in Htantlang Township, the Deputy Minister and his delegation were briefed by local elders, the chief physician, and hospital staff on the hospital's preparation status, the status of the (Mobile) operating room installation, the water supply status, the electricity supply status, the possibility of further expansion of the hospital, the status of receiving laboratory equipment and medicines, and the treatment status. The Deputy Minister stated that based on the presentations, he coordinated with the responsible officials and that the state is providing the necessary laboratory equipment and medicines for the People's Hospital in a timely manner. Subsequently, the Deputy Minister and his delegation inspected the status of laboratory equipment installation within the temporary operating room and the status of medicine storage within the pharmacy. Afterwards, the laboratory equipment and medicines required for the hospital were handed over, and the chief physician received them. It was reported that at the temporary People's Hospital in Htantlang Township, the chief physician and 84 healthcare staff are providing medical examinations and treatments, and have been able to treat a total of 1,424 patients. Furthermore, in Tiddim, Tonzang, and Htantlang townships in Chin State, township people's hospitals have been opened, and with 285 doctors and healthcare staff, 13,677 patients have been treated. Treatment equipment and medicines have also arrived. Following this, the Deputy Minister and his delegation visited the branch of the Myanma Economic Bank (Htantlang Township) opened at the Htantlang Township General Administration Department, and inspected the status of banking services being provided to the public and the work status of the staff. After that, the Deputy Minister and his delegation met with staff at the Public Service Office (One Stop Shop) and the Township General Administration Department office, as well as group/village administrators, and were briefed on their work status.
