Operatives from the City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation. The arrested suspects were not immediately identified, but one was confirmed to be a high-value individual. The operation is part of the city government’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs. Cagayan de Oro City, a major economic hub in Northern Mindanao, has been a target of law enforcement agencies in their relentless pursuit of drug syndicates and their operations.
