Cambodia Launches Third Digital Startup Accelerator Program

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC) has announced the opening of applications for the third season of the "Innovate Cambodia Accelerator Program – Batch 3." This initiative is designed to foster Cambodia's digital startup ecosystem and drive innovation, supporting the development of the digital economy and society, and enhancing regional competitiveness. The MPTC has been actively creating a favorable environment for digital startups through policy development, entrepreneurship capacity building, international partnerships, and investment attraction. In collaboration with Plug and Play and the AUPP Technology Center (ATC), the third season of the accelerator program is set to commence on September 8, 2026. Its primary goal is to support promising digital startups in developing their products, scaling their businesses, preparing for investment, and entering regional and global markets. In the previous two seasons, 21 out of approximately 150 participating digital startups received knowledge, mentorship, and training from international experts. Furthermore, 18 startups participated in programs in Singapore, and 7 in the United States. These participants showcased their products and services, seeking opportunities to connect with major corporations and investors through Plug and Play's global network. Notably, in 2026, Plug and Play announced investments in two Cambodian digital startups: Bamnang and KonektAgri. These achievements highlight the tangible progress of Cambodia's digital startup ecosystem and its growing international recognition. Applications for the third season of the "Innovate Cambodia Accelerator Program" will be accepted from the date of this announcement until August 21, 2026.
