Two male suspects, arrested for theft and robbery, have reportedly escaped from the Kampot Speu Provincial Court premises. They are believed to have fled while still handcuffed, and police are actively searching for them. Two male suspects, arrested for theft and robbery, have reportedly escaped from the Kampot Speu Provincial Court premises. The incident occurred around 10 AM on September 17th within the court's compound. According to sources, the suspects scaled the rear wall of the court and fled while still handcuffed. Following the incident, specialized police units launched a search operation in the surrounding areas and locations where the suspects might be hiding. Major General Khim Sokhai, the Kampot Speu Provincial Police Commissioner, stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice. He confirmed that as of the time of reporting, the suspects had not yet been recaptured. Local residents living near the court have raised concerns, noting that similar incidents of suspects escaping during transfers to the court have been reported previously.
