BALANGA CITY, Bataan — A member of the LGBTQ community and a cohort were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Silang, Balanga City, Bataan, on Wednesday evening after a month-long police surveillance. Police Maj. Patrick Carlo Balcanao, chief of the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU), said authorities confiscated 60.37 grams of suspected shabu and other evidence of illegal drug trafficking. Balcanao stated that the operation was part of the unit's ongoing campaign to eradicate illegal drugs and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
