PDEA-BARMM Arrests 3, Seizes P6.8M Worth of Shabu in Cotabato City

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) arrested three individuals and seized an estimated P6.8 million worth of "shabu" (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Rosary Heights 3 here on Thursday, Aug. 6. The operation, conducted shortly after noon, also resulted in the confiscation of other evidence listed in the inventory of seized property. The three arrested suspects are currently in the custody of PDEA-BARMM and are facing charges for violating the country's anti-drug law. This seizure is part of the ongoing nationwide campaign against illegal drugs in the Philippines, highlighting PDEA's efforts to eradicate the proliferation of illicit substances, particularly in the BARMM region.
