BIFF Faction Leader Killed in Maguindanao del Norte
Ismael Abubakar, also known as Kumander Bungos and leader of a breakaway faction of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF), was killed by joint security forces in Central Mindanao. The operation is considered a strategic success that will weaken the group's influence, particularly with the upcoming BARMM elections.
