Nearly 9,000 Barangays Nationwide at Risk for Floods, Landslides

Nearly 9,000 barangays across the country have been identified as potentially vulnerable to flooding and rain-induced landslides as persistent rains associated with the southwest monsoon continue to threaten communities. According to the bureau, 8,911 barangays are covered by its latest assessment for rain-induced landslide and flooding risks.
