According to Torres, Josie remains to not directly affect the country, and is expected to weaken as a tropical depression within the next 12 hours and become a low pressure area by Wednesday. “For now, Josie has no direct impact on any part of our country, but the southwest monsoon, or habagat, will bring gusts of strong winds today,” Torres said.
