Disposable syringes to be produced again at Pharmaceutical Factory (Inyaung) in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region, with 100 million units to be produced annually

It has been learned that the production of disposable syringes has resumed at the Pharmaceutical Factory (Inyaung) in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region, and that 100 million units are expected to be produced annually. On July 24, an opening ceremony for the resumption of disposable syringe production was held at the Pharmaceutical Factory (Inyaung). The ceremony was attended by U Htun Aung, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Minister of Electricity, Industry, and Transport of Mandalay Region, the Director General of Myanma Pharmaceutical Enterprise, and the Chairman of Valves Private Limited, who attended and inaugurated the event. Afterwards, they inspected the production of disposable syringes within the factory, quality testing, and packaging systems. Following this, at the factory's briefing hall, the Deputy Minister stated that the Pharmaceutical Factory (Inyaung) is currently producing 44 types of medicines, including intravenous fluids, injections, powders, and ointments. He added that with the factory now producing 100 million disposable syringes annually in four types (3 ml/cc, 5 ml/cc, 10 ml/cc, 20 ml/cc), it will be able to fulfill the country's existing demand.
