Cambodian and Malaysian Military Chiefs Pledge to Strengthen Cooperation and Support Peaceful Regional Resolutions

He also praised the Cambodian army for demonstrating high patience and avoiding armed conflict despite the sensitive border situation. The Malaysian side strongly supported the resolution of the Cambodia-Thailand conflict through dialogue under the GBC or JBC mechanism and based on the principle of ASEAN centrality, stating that the use of force is not a viable option for resolving issues.
