Phnom Penh Tragedy: Man Kills Girlfriend in Condo, Then Jumps to Death from 11th Floor

A tragic incident occurred in a condominium in Phnom Penh's Tuol Kork district, where a man allegedly strangled his girlfriend of five years to death before jumping from the 11th floor of their building and dying. The incident took place around 8 PM on September 1st. According to witnesses, residents conversing near the condominium heard a loud noise, similar to a car tire bursting. Upon investigation, they discovered a man lying face down in a pool of blood and subsequently reported the incident to the authorities. Local police and forensic experts confirmed that the female victim died from asphyxiation due to strangulation. The bodies were handed over to the families for traditional funeral rites.
