President Prabowo Inaugurates 1,177 New TNI-Polri Officers

President Prabowo Subianto presided over the Prasetya Perwira (Praspa) ceremony for the 2026 class of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. A total of 1,177 cadet officers (capaja) were inaugurated as TNI and Polri officers. The breakdown of the newly appointed officers includes 512 from the Military Academy (Akmil), 229 from the Naval Academy (AAL), 154 from the Air Force Academy (AAU), and 282 from the Police Academy (Akpol). This inauguration marks the beginning of their careers as commissioned officers, entrusted with the responsibility of serving the nation and upholding its security and welfare.
