President Prabowo Scheduled to Attend PAN's 28th Anniversary Event

President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the 28th anniversary event of the National Awakening Party (PAN) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on the evening of Friday, September 18, 2026. This was confirmed by PAN's Deputy Chairman, Viva Yoga Mauladi. "God willing, President Prabowo Subianto is planned to attend the 28th PAN Anniversary event, Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7:00 PM at JCC Jakarta," Viva Yoga Mauladi said via a short message on Thursday evening. In addition to President Prabowo, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is also scheduled to attend, Viva stated. Furthermore, he mentioned that chairpersons of other political parties are also scheduled to attend tonight. "Among them are Bahlil Lahadalia (Golkar), Muhaimin Iskandar (PKB), Al Muzamil Yusuf (PKS), and others," he said. PAN is one of the ruling coalition parties. In the 2024 Presidential Election, PAN joined the "Indonesia Maju Coalition," becoming one of the supporting parties for Prabowo-Gibran. After the election, several PAN members hold positions in the "Merah Putih Cabinet" under President Prabowo's leadership. This includes PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, who serves as the Coordinating Minister for Food. Besides Zulhas, other PAN elites in the cabinet include Yandri Susanto as Minister of Villages and Dudy Purwagandhi as Minister of Transportation. In the deputy minister positions, Bima Arya Sugiarto serves as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and Viva Yoga Mauladi as Deputy Minister of Transmigration. Additionally, Zita Anjani is appointed as the Presidential Special Envoy for Tourism. In the national political arena, PAN has consistently supported Prabowo from one presidential election to the next, having been a steadfast supporter since 2014.
