Phoenix Voyages Group Reaffirms Commitment to Promoting Cambodia’s Tourism and Culture Globally

Phoenix Voyages Group Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Cambodia’s tourism and culture globally, with preparations underway for the 10th Angkor Ultra Trail in January 2027. On July 30, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet received Mr. Edouard GEORGE, Chairman of Phoenix Voyages Group Limited, for a courtesy call and discussion at the Peace Palace. During the meeting, Mr. Edouard GEORGE briefed Samdech Thipadei on the preparations for the 10th Angkor Ultra Trail, an endurance trail-running event scheduled to take place in January 2027. This event will also mark the 10th anniversary of the competition’s organisation in Cambodia. Mr. Edouard GEORGE expressed his deep appreciation to the Royal Government and relevant ministries and institutions for their continued support for the Angkor Ultra Trail. He also outlined the company’s plans to organise additional sporting and other events to contribute to Cambodia’s tourism development, while sharing its business operations and plans to further expand investment in the country. The Chairman reaffirmed Phoenix Voyages Group’s commitment to working closely with relevant ministries and institutions to promote Cambodia’s tourism and culture internationally and attract more international visitors to the Kingdom. In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet highly appreciated the company’s continued commitment to contributing to tourism development and promoting Cambodia’s culture through the Angkor Ultra Trail. He also thanked the company for its strong confidence in Cambodia and its plans to expand its business operations in the country. The Prime Minister highlighted the Royal Government’s policies and mechanisms to further promote tourism, including ensuring tourist safety, reducing travel costs, improving service quality, and organising sporting events, exhibitions and other activities to complement Cambodia’s existing tourism attractions, particularly its ancient temples and rich cultural heritage. Samdech Thipadei encouraged Phoenix Voyages Group to continue close cooperation with relevant ministries and institutions to ensure the success of the Angkor Ultra Trail and contribute further to the development of Cambodia’s tourism sector. The Angkor Ultra Trail, organised by Phoenix Voyages Group, has become an important international sporting event that combines adventure, heritage and nature while helping showcase Cambodia’s tourism potential to international visitors.
