Cambodian Senate Officials Distribute Aid and Digital Scholarships in Kandal Province

Mam Bunneang, Chairman of the Senate's Commission for Examination, Cleaning, and Anti-Corruption, and Head of the Senate Working Group for Region 3 (Kandal Province), along with Sok Samnang, Assistant to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and honorary chairman of the Cambodian Association of Chiropractors, on July 19, 2026, visited Trapeang Veng Commune, Kandal Stung District, Kandal Province. The delegation held discussions and distributed valuable gifts from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Kittipritbandit, as well as humanitarian aid from the Global Life-Saving Sharing Medical Society of the Republic of Korea. The aid, including medicines, clothing, and essential supplies, was distributed to commune authorities and a total of 236 residents. During the meeting, HE Mam Bunneang conveyed greetings and well wishes from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Kittipritbandit, as well as HE Uch Borrith, First Vice President, and HE Dr. Thon Vattana, Second Vice President of the Senate. He emphasized their constant concern for the well-being and living conditions of the people and local authorities. HE Mam Bunneang highly praised and commended the leadership of Trapeang Veng Commune for their diligent efforts in providing public services and developing the local area. He encouraged officials and citizens, especially the youth, to continuously enhance their capacities, self-reliance, and independence to develop themselves, their families' economies, and contribute to building a strong, honorable, and dignified nation. Furthermore, HE Mam Bunneang announced the provision of 100% Senate Digital Scholarships for 100 youths and students in Trapeang Veng Commune.
