Indian Navy Ship Docks at Ream Naval Base to Strengthen Friendship and Cooperation

On the morning of Saturday, September 12, 2026, an Indian Navy ship, INS KULISH (P63), led by Commander SURAJ KUMAR SINGH, safely docked at the Ream Naval Base in Ream commune, Sihanoukville province, Kingdom of Cambodia. The visit, scheduled from September 12 to 15, 2026, aims to strengthen solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the navies of both countries, as well as between their governments. Upon docking at the Ream Naval Base, the Indian Navy ship was welcomed by naval officers and subordinates of the Ream Naval Base, led by Deputy Commander Rear Admiral IN SOKHEMARA. During the welcome ceremony, Deputy Commander Rear Admiral IN SOKHEMARA of the Ream Naval Base welcomed the first docking of an Indian Navy ship at the Ream Naval Base in Sihanoukville province and wished all officers, subordinates, and sailors of the Indian Navy a safe visit and stay on the coastal territory of Sihanoukville province. The Deputy Commander of the Ream Naval Base further stated that today, we welcomed the Indian Navy ship that has docked at the Ream Naval Base, and a friendly coffee ceremony was organized between the navies of the two countries (Cambodia and India). During their stay and visit in the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Indian Navy delegation plans to pay courtesy calls on His Excellency the Governor of Sihanoukville Province, His Excellency the Commander of the Ream Naval Base, and several high-ranking officials from the Ministry of National Defence. Additionally, friendly sports events between the navies of the two countries are scheduled, along with joint exercises such as Operational Turaroun (ORT) and Passage Exercise (PASSEX). Technical specifications of the ship - INS KULISH is a Corvette-class warship, hull number P63. It has a length of 91.16 meters, a beam of 10.46 meters, a draft of 4.27 meters, and a displacement of 1,449 tons. It is crewed by 11 officers and 120 sailors, led by Commander SURAJ KUMAR SINGH.
