Equinox Angkor Run to Be Held at Angkor Temples, Boosting Tourism and Humanitarian Aid

A large-scale event titled 'Equinox Angkor Run' is scheduled to be held at sunrise on September 21, 2026, against the backdrop of the Angkor Wat temples in Siem Reap province, Cambodia. The run will commence at 4:30 AM from the Stone Bridge (Suon Thom) and proceed towards the Angkor area. The 'Equinox Angkor Run' is designed as a multifaceted event, integrating sports, health promotion, tourism, cultural exchange, and humanitarian aid. Organizers anticipate between 5,000 and 10,000 national and international participants. Registration will be conducted online, and participants will receive a free T-shirt, hat, and race bib. Furthermore, the event will also accept voluntary donations from participants and the public. The funds raised will be allocated to humanitarian and social activities that benefit the community.
