Four fuel oil tankers docked at Thilawa Port, unloading oil

Four fuel oil tankers have docked at the terminals of Thilawa International Port in Yangon city on July 26, and are currently unloading oil, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced. The Ministry of Electricity and Energy is arranging the supply system to ensure the continuous arrival of fuel oil from abroad and to avoid shortages at fuel stations, and is strictly monitoring the entire supply chain until the supplied fuel oil reaches consumers. In allowing fuel oil sales stations to purchase fuel oil, it is stated in the announcement that the sales lists with QR codes/bar codes using technology are being scrutinized to ensure real demand and real purchase orders (PO), and purchase orders (PO) for fuel oil are being scrutinized and approved to be issued according to sales volume. Furthermore, it has also been announced that the routes for transporting fuel oil from the terminals in Thilawa to designated sales stations and businesses by fuel oil transport vehicles are being systematically monitored, supervised, and inspected.
