The visit aimed to further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between the two nations. During the talks, specific areas of collaboration were discussed, focusing on expanding economic cooperation, increasing investment opportunities, promoting tourism, and enhancing cultural exchange. Both countries agreed to bolster their cooperation in maintaining regional peace and stability. Economically, emphasis was placed on increasing bilateral trade volume and encouraging investment from Myanmar into Cambodia. Furthermore, boosting mutual tourism and fostering understanding between their peoples through the shared protection and exchange of cultural heritage were identified as key pillars for future cooperation. The visit also served to reaffirm the roles of Cambodia and Myanmar within the region, especially in anticipation of Myanmar's ASEAN chairmanship in 2026, with the overarching goal of further developing bilateral relations.
