She emphasized that creating a safe, dignified, and harassment-free workplace is fundamental for decent work and sustainable, inclusive socio-economic development. The Ministry will continue to collaborate closely with development partners and stakeholders to enhance the capacity of officials, raise awareness, and promote the effective implementation of preventive and responsive measures against workplace violence and harassment. H.E. Suos Sinnoun expressed strong hope that this training will contribute to building a safe, equitable, inclusive, and mutually respectful working environment, in line with the policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia and international labour standards. Mr. Che Sophorn, Chief of the Labour Conditions Monitoring Unit of the ILO-BFC project, highlighted the importance of participation from all stakeholders in preventing and responding to GBVH in the workplace. He expressed his hope that participants will gain new knowledge, skills, and experiences that can be effectively applied in their practical work and shared with other stakeholders. He also affirmed the project's commitment to continue collaborating with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and other relevant partners to promote labour rights and contribute to building safe and harassment-free workplaces for all employees.
