As of 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Typhoon Inday has exited the Philippine area of responsibility, according to PAGASA. In Sultan sa Barongis, the Bulod Public Market, Tukanakuden Elementary School, Day Care Center, Barangay Hall, and Solar Dryer were reported to have been totally damaged or rendered unusable. In Datu Piang, several schools, the Rural Health Unit, barangay health stations, and barangay halls in Dambalas and Magaslong were flooded. One senior citizen, identified as Alibasa Sanday, 70, was reported missing in Barangay Tamar, Talayan. Datu Nur Ali Midtimbang, Maguindanao del Sur provincial administrator, said the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) immediately distributed relief assistance to the affected municipalities. The first relief operations were conducted in remote barangays on Friday, including Barangay Tugal and Barangay Angkayamat in Sultan sa Barongis. Relief packs and aid distribution were also distributed in Talayan, Datu Anggal Midtimbang and Guindulungan. On Saturday, two PDRRMO teams continued the distribution in the municipalities of Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Datu Unsay, Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Datu Piang and Datu Salibo while the other team delivered goods to Rajah Buayan, Ampatuan, Pandag and Paglat.
