Mindanao Quake Prompts Nationwide Emergency Response

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks in Mindanao have prompted the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to direct affected local government units (LGUs) to implement emergency response measures. The Bureau of Fire Protection is on Code Red alert, and the Philippine National Police has deployed additional personnel, urging residents to remain vigilant and follow evacuation orders.
