La Union Suspends Classes, Government Work Due to Tropical Cyclone Luis, Monsoon
La Union province in Pangasinan, Philippines, suspended all levels of classes and government work on Tuesday, August 4, due to an Orange Rainfall Warning caused by Tropical Cyclone Luis and the southwest monsoon (habagat). The suspension was ordered by the provincial governor through Executive Order No. 41.
