The Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced that the permanent CNG purchase rights of 10 YBS passenger vehicles, which were operating as factory ferries in industrial zones instead of running on their designated routes, have been suspended. Upon receiving information that YBS vehicles were operating as factory ferries, officials went to inspect and found them operating as factory ferries. Consequently, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy took action to suspend the permanent CNG refueling rights for these 10 YBS passenger vehicles starting from July 25. The numbers of these 10 motor vehicles will be announced at all CNG sales stations, it is said. Furthermore, if illegal sales of CNG between CNG vehicles are detected, action will be taken against the offending vehicles, including the suspension of their permanent CNG purchase rights, according to the announcement.
