Hanoi Launches Digital Map-Based Traffic Infrastructure Management System

The Hanoi Department of Construction has launched a traffic infrastructure management system based on a digital map. This system includes a spatial database of traffic infrastructure within the city and the digitalization and updating of data for various types of traffic infrastructure. The operation of this digital map-based traffic infrastructure management aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management over traffic infrastructure. It will form a shared database, facilitating direction, operation, and data sharing among agencies and units. This system is expected to serve as a crucial foundation for the development of smart transportation and urban digital infrastructure in the capital in the coming time. In related economic news, statistics from the Hanoi Statistics Department show that the city's export turnover in the first half of 2026 experienced remarkable growth, reaching $10.585 billion, a 5.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Key export categories showing significant increases include agricultural products, up 10.6%, and computers, electronic products, and components, up over 18%. Notably, Hanoi-based enterprises have played a leading role in export activities, with their export turnover reaching $5.737 billion, accounting for over 54% of the total. This segment contributed more than FDI enterprises, which recorded $4.848 billion, accounting for nearly 46%. This indicates the robust growth of Hanoi's domestic businesses in the export market.
