The Steering Council for the Establishment of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) met with officials from the Spring Revolution Alliance (SRA) and discussed the current political situation and future political processes, it was announced yesterday (July 25). The meeting between SCEF and SRA was held on July 20, 2026, and consultations were held regarding the current political landscape and the requirements of future political processes, according to the announcement. At the meeting, the rotating chairman of SCEF, Khu Oo Ral, delivered the opening remarks, and the attending leaders frankly discussed and coordinated on future processes, and decided on the processes to be carried forward, it is reported. After the meeting, Duwa La Shi La, a member of SCEF's Strategy and Policy Steering Group and interim President, and Ko Saung Kh, a representative of the Spring Revolution Alliance (SRA), delivered closing remarks, and the meeting was successfully concluded, according to the announcement.
