Iran's Ambassador Pledges to Enhance Cooperation with Cambodia
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet met with Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Cambodia, on September 10th. The ambassador expressed his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, which the Prime Minister welcomed, encouraging further exploration of new opportunities.
On the morning of September 10, 2024, at the Peace Palace, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, received Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Cambodia, for a courtesy call and working discussion. During the meeting, Ambassador Ali Abadi highly valued the relations between the two countries and emphasized his commitment to further promoting bilateral cooperation. He expressed interest in exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation in several sectors. In response, Samdech Thipadei congratulated Ambassador Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi on his appointment as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Samdech Thipadei noted the good relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that the Ambassador's tenure would contribute to the further growth of cooperation between them. Concurrently, Samdech Thipadei welcomed the Ambassador's commitment to seeking new opportunities that would further boost bilateral cooperation and encouraged the Ambassador to discuss further with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia.
