Youth found dead after being swept away in a drain in Mingalataungnyunt

The body of a youth who was swept away in a drain in Phortmyay Ward, Mingalataungnyunt Township, Yangon Region, on the evening of September 12, was found at 7:48 PM, according to a statement from the Myanmar Fire Brigade. It is said that the youth was swept away in the drain while trying to retrieve a ball that had floated away. The body of the youth who was swept away in the drain was found after firefighters, members of social welfare organizations, and local residents joined forces to search for him. The body of the deceased youth was transported to Yangon General Hospital by ambulance by the Sapaygon Ward Social Welfare Organization, according to the statement.
