Battambang, Cambodia -- On September 4, 2026, Battambang Provincial Governor Sok Lu inspected the 'Yani' aromatic coconut processing facility, located in Samnanh village, Phnom Sampov commune, Banan district. This facility is primarily responsible for supplying aromatic coconut products to the domestic market. During the visit, HE Sok Lu presented a letter of commendation and expressed gratitude to Mr. Tan Sophin, the owner of the Yani aromatic coconut processing facility. The governor praised Sophin for his contribution to promoting local agricultural products and increasing farmer incomes through the cultivation of aromatic coconuts for the domestic market, thereby improving their livelihoods. Governor Lu encouraged the facility owner to expand processing capabilities and increase the procurement of aromatic coconuts from local farmers. The aim is to jointly enhance local products and reduce imports.
