Prosecution in VP Duterte’s impeachment trial withdraws more witnesses
The prosecution panel in the impeachment trial of Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte has withdrawn several witnesses related to allegations of grave threats. This includes a sheriff whom the Vice President allegedly assaulted and reporters who witnessed her online press briefing. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) director is now expected to be the final witness.
