Over 6 in 10 Filipinos who used information and communications technology (ICT) devices experienced a cybersecurity incident in 2024, with approximately 24.28 million individuals affected, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). SMS fraud was the most common threat, followed by hacking and phishing.
