President Prabowo Inaugurates 1,204 IPDN Graduates as Civil Servants

President Prabowo Subianto has officially inaugurated 1,204 graduates of the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) as 'Pamong Praja Muda' (young civil servants) at the IPDN Campus in Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (29/7). Prabowo presided over the ceremony as the Inspector of Ceremony, accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian. During the event, President Prabowo recognized and honored the three top graduates. Aji Bayu Ramadhan, son of construction worker Winoto Hadi, received the Kartika Astha Bratha award. The Sapta Abdi Praja award was presented to Charina Anggie Simbolon, daughter of TNI Sergeant Major Marisi Mangapul Simbolon, and Mohamad Toriq Anwar, son of farmer Wartoyo. President Prabowo then symbolically bestowed the rank insignia upon these three new Pamong Praja Muda. He led them in reciting a solemn oath, pledging their commitment to governmental duties, loyalty, and the unity of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. The oath also included a vow of readiness to sacrifice for the nation and society, and to serve as role models. This inauguration signifies the induction of a new cohort of public administrators into Indonesia's regional governance system. These graduates are expected to play crucial roles in fostering local development and enhancing public welfare throughout the nation. The inclusion of individuals from varied socio-economic backgrounds among the top achievers underscores the ongoing emphasis on meritocracy and equal opportunity within the Indonesian civil service.
